Photomizer is a photo optimization and edition program. It allows you to improve the quality of your pictures by adjusting their sharpness, brightness, and toying with their resolution, quality, etc. The application does not require much input from the user. Instead, it uses a fixed set of filters to optimize pictures automatically. For example, mobile phone cameras are not of the best quality, and they tend to take dark pictures, even in good lighting conditions. I loaded one of the pictures from my camera, which was taken in broad daylight, and Photomizer was able to automatically make it brighter and sharper with absolutely zero help from me. There are 5 presets for picture optimization: Archive, Web optimized, Picture Frame, HDR optimized, and Brighten.
Photomizer can work with individual files, but it can also modify a batch of pictures as well. There are several views for your files. You can see a preview of changes and then examine the difference between the original picture and the preview, or you can see them side by side, which shows more but also takes up more space on your screen.
Other than retouching up your pictures, Photomizer can also be used for reducing the size of images or even modifying their resolution. I'd raither it showed a preview of the file size after optimization somewhere on the screen, though.
All in all, Photomizer is no Photoshop, but in exchange, it is really easy to use, quick, and improves pictures quite a bit.
